Reimagining 1125 Longvalley: From Listing to Fully Realized Vision

A fully realized design vision—translating architectural legacy into a refined, modern way of living.

Some homes don’t need to be rebuilt—they need to be revealed.

That was the opportunity at 1125 Longvalley. A legacy estate with incredible scale, architectural presence, and setting, yet like many properties of its kind, its full potential wasn’t immediately visible to today’s buyer.

This project was not about staging a home for sale. It was about strategically designing its next chapter—and doing so in collaboration with the right team from the very beginning.

The Objective: Turn Potential Into Clarity

When we partnered with the listing agent and builder, the goal was clear:

  • Help buyers see beyond the existing condition
  • Remove uncertainty around layout, flow, and design direction
  • Provide a fully considered vision that could realistically be executed

Rather than asking buyers to imagine what the home could be, we created a comprehensive design roadmap showing exactly how the home could evolve—beautifully and cohesively.

A True Collaboration: Realtor + Designer + Builder

This project worked because it wasn’t approached in silos.

  • The RealtorThe MacPherson Group brought deep market insight—understanding what today’s buyer expects and how to position the property competitively
  • Our Design Team – We translated that into a complete, elevated vision for how the home could live
  • The BuilderA. Perry Homes ensured that everything proposed was grounded in reality—feasible, buildable, and aligned with timelines and investment expectations

This alignment is what transforms a listing into something far more powerful:
a clear, actionable opportunity for the next owner.

The Property: A Rare Setting

Set on expansive grounds with sweeping views, the estate offers a level of privacy and scale that is increasingly rare. The surrounding landscape becomes an integral part of the experience—informing how the interiors open, flow, and connect to the outdoors.

This is not just a home—it’s a setting, a retreat, and a long-term investment in lifestyle.

What We Created

To bring clarity and confidence to the buying process, we developed a fully realized design vision for the home—translating its scale, architecture, and setting into a cohesive, elevated way of living.

This included a comprehensive design book, full-home floor plans, and room-by-room concepts with before images, renderings, and spatial layouts—allowing buyers to clearly understand both the potential and the path forward.

Entertainment Lounge & Dining Room

The grand lounge makes a striking first impression, anchored by sculptural seating and a statement stone fireplace, while the dining space is defined by dramatic lighting and sweeping views. Rich wood tones and layered textiles bring warmth to the expansive, light-filled setting—designed for both intimate moments and large-scale entertaining.

Great Room

Designed as the relaxed heart of the home, this space is grounded in warmth and connection. A linear wood-planked ceiling and custom millwork add depth, while expansive windows draw the landscape in—creating a casual, welcoming environment that supports everyday living with ease.

Kitchen

Reimagined as an open, fluid hub, the kitchen balances clean architectural lines with refined materiality. A sculptural hood wall, reeded cabinetry, and tailored stone surfaces frame the space, while a central island anchors both function and gathering—marking the transition into a more private family wing.

Primary Bedroom

A calm, restorative retreat layered in soft neutrals and tailored textures. A sculptural lounge overlooking the pool and pond creates a moment of pause—where light, views, and stillness become part of the everyday experience.
